FROM HOLMESDALE FARMS TO HOLMES SERVICES

Our family may have retired from farming, but farming has never left our family.

The Holmes family's story is rooted in Holmesdale Farms of Winchester, Ontario. Jordan's father was born on the farm in 1955, and agriculture remained central to family life until the family retired from active farming in 2023.

Working with livestock, crops, agricultural machinery and the land developed a practical understanding of equipment, maintenance, problem-solving and the responsibilities of running a farm. That knowledge continues to be shared between generations.

Today, Holmes Services & Stewardship Inc. carries that experience forward. The company combines Jordan's father's agricultural knowledge with Jordan's experience in farming, heavy equipment, construction, transportation, business operations and modern technology. Holmes Services is a separate, federally incorporated Canadian company; the farm's history is our family background.

TWO GENERATIONS OF KNOWLEDGE. ONE COMMITMENT TO SERVICE.

Jordan's agricultural experience includes involvement in a 500-plus-acre operation, crop production and planning, livestock, equipment operation, and farm operations and financial coordination.

His field and transportation experience spans excavators, backhoes and loaders; construction, landscaping, drainage and property infrastructure; municipal and winter operations; equipment maintenance; and commercial transportation, specialized moving, scheduling and dispatch.

Business experience includes development, estimating, purchasing, project planning, customer relations, material handling, and supplier and subcontractor coordination. We bring that practical knowledge to property work, material sourcing and project organization.

Current technology work includes in-house workflow development, AI-assisted operational tools, software prototyping, automation and digital-systems planning. Development work is distinct from completed customer integrations; any client delivery is reviewed and scoped separately.

We believe the best solutions come from understanding how things work in the real world. Our goal is practical, dependable assistance tailored to the job. Previous experience does not mean every former service or piece of equipment is currently available through Holmes.

We believe strong communities are built by the people and businesses within them. Whenever practical, we aim to hire locally, source materials from regional suppliers and collaborate with independent contractors and businesses in the communities we serve.

Holmes Services is committed to supporting local communities, building lasting relationships and delivering practical, dependable solutions. Our field services are regional and reviewed for location, access, equipment suitability, conditions and availability. On-call requests and suitable planned or seasonal arrangements are considered individually.

Suitable remote business support, consulting, project coordination and subcontracting opportunities across Canada are considered by agreed scope. Physical work elsewhere requires review of registration, trade requirements, insurance, local partners and resources. We do not maintain nationwide crews or offices, and federal incorporation is not a universal trade authorization.
